The
BALL MASTERY:
The aim is to develop the sublime skills that will create a devastatingly effective player. This is accomplished by repetition ball control exercises utilizing both feet, knees, chest and the head.
RECEIVING / PASSING:
The aim is to encourage accurate and creative passing utilizing practice drills and games and to develop the art of the “first” touch, one of the most important skills at all levels of soccer.
ONE ON ONE SKILL:
The focus is on exercises and games that teach game winning individual moves, how to create space against packed defenses as well as developing and enhancing the confidence of the individual player.
SPEED:
In short, speed kills. Developing speed will encompass drills and games to improve agility, acceleration and power with and without the ball.
FINISHING:
The aim is to develop the killer instinct required to finish effectively. Exercises and games that improve technique and encourage instinctive play around the goal will be the primary training tool.
TEAM OFFENSE:
The aim is to provide situations that improve small group play with an emphasis on effective fast break attacks. Most teams cannot attack effectively as this skill is rarely practiced. Exercises and games that improve overall team technique and encourage instinctive play will be the primary training tool.
TEAM DEFENSE:
The aim is to improve overall defensive strategies and improve the defensive abilities of all the team’s players. Most teams cannot defend effectively as a team when required. Exercises and games that improve overall team technique and encourage instinctive play will be the primary training tool.
